Our Technical Research Laboratory responds to areas beyond the scope of our existing businesses, and conducts research and development of new original products. Our technical staff are engaged in the whole process from surveys of customers’ needs and technological trends to research & development and after-sales service in an integrated manner.
Based on our core compounding and molding processing technologies, we are working on the development of leading-edge technologies and products which do not reduce multipurpose functions and convenience of plastics, while demonstrating superior environmental performance. We are also striving to handle difficult themes energetically in collaboration with the New Business Division. The mission of our Technical Research Laboratory is not to conduct research for the purpose of research itself, but to indentify demands of the world and customers, and at the same time, figure out an effective production method and produce products speedy, utilizing the networks we have developed until today.
The Technical Research Laboratory is also working on the improvements of our existing technologies, education of personnel, and technological support of other divisions as a research and development institute.

The New Business Division develops a new market for new products developed by the Technical Research Laboratory, undertaking from production and sales to marketing such as market research. It also supports the development of new products by feeding back information collected through sales and marketing to the Technical Research Laboratory.
