The KOBASOL Division mainly supplies customers with multipurpose KOBASOL developed by utilizing our unique compound technology for processors of industrial parts, toys, and miscellaneous products both inside and outside Japan.
This division is working on the development of various types of liquid compounds from polyvinyl chloride to urethane, epoxy, and acryl having superior environmental performance, and provides a wide range of products tailored to meet customers’ applications.
Our Packaging Division mainly deals in packaging for food, such as natto (fermented soybeans), tofu (soybean curd), frozen desserts, and cup instant noodles, and produces them in an integrated manner from sheet forming to completed products at our own factories.
Our production factories, which were designed based on those of pharmaceutical manufacturers, are operated with a high-level hygiene-control system equivalent to food factories.
At the factories, operational improvement activities are continually carried out through TPM activities, aiming for continued improvements of not only the facilities but also abilities and consciousness of our employees.
This is the business division, which handles all kinds of packing and delivery materials for distribution and retailing, such as film for prepared dishes and fresh food from supermarkets, CVS, and trays for fruits, vegetables, and shipping materials.
As a manufacturer, the materials are produced by our own domestic and overseas factories, as well as subcontract factories. Products can be supplied that demonstrate heat resistance, design features, display features, durability, and excellent QCD balance conforming to customer needs.
Our Industrial Implements and Materials Division has been dealing in a wide range of plastic sheeting, films, and pellets used in various industrial fields, from multipurpose materials to use-specific materials having high functionality over 60 years.
Our sales staff understand customers’ needs precisely based on experiences and achievements that we have accumulated over many years, and coordinate optimal materials and products through cooperation with manufacturers of raw and other materials in many countries with which we have built up a close relationship of mutual trust.
Technical research laboratory
Our Technical Research Laboratory responds to areas beyond the scope of our existing businesses, and conducts research and development of new original products.

The New Business Division develops a new market for new products developed by the Technical Research Laboratory, undertaking from production and sales to marketing such as market research.
